In an impressive celebration of cross-cultural learning and academic excellence, Hanbat National University (HBNU) concluded the second phase of the HBNU-CMU International Capstone 2023, a week-long exchange of knowledge and cultural experiences that unfolded from 3rd to 9th December 2023.

🎓 Brains at Work
Dr Faifan Tantakitti, Director Deputy of Chiang Mai International Engineering School, led four teachers and nine students through a brilliant ride of knowledge exchange. Think special lectures on cool stuff like “Energy Reduction in Smart Building/Factory/Port Sectors for Carbon Neutrality”, “Water Treatment Technology in Thailand and Possibility Study for Better Alternative Technology” and “Development of a Glass Microchip for Detecting Food Poisoning” And hold up, the students showcased their final projects and a testament to the dedication and ingenuity cultivated since Phase 1.

🌍 Beyond Borders: Exploring Korean Culture
But it wasn’t all about hitting the books. The team also dived into Korean culture. Highlights included visits to the National Institute of Ecology in Seocheon, the Gibalpo Naval Battle Observatory (Janghang Skywalk), Jeonju Hanok Village and the pulsating heart of South Korea – Seoul.
