MECHANICAL ENGINEERING AND ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGEMENT (MEPM)

Course Overview

The Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Project Management curriculum is accredited by the Professional Engineering Council of Thailand. The programme is designed to help students gain knowledge, develop skills, and build the character of a professional mechanical engineer. Special emphasis is given to practical problem solving, communication skills, as well as experiences in international and multi-cultural environments. These are achieved through co-operative education with a selected engineering company, overseas placement opportunities, and specially devised activities throughout the programme.

“During my internship in Japan as a Thai intern, I encountered language difficulties but managed to overcome them through the use of translation tools and seeking assistance from my Thai colleagues who were proficient in Japanese. Feeling homesick due to the extended period away from home, I stayed connected with loved ones through video calls and messages while immersing myself in the local culture by exploring the surroundings, trying local cuisine, and participating in cultural activities. Additionally, I expanded my social circle by engaging in social events and joining hobby groups at Gunma University.”

“During my time as an intern in Tai & Chyun , I had the chance to contribute to project, allowing me to develop both technical and interpersonal skills. I was given responsibilities that challenged me to think critically, problem-solve, and communicate effectively. Furthermore, the supportive work environment and mentorship I received were instrumental in my growth as an aspiring professional. In the end I’d like to thank National Taiwan University of Science and Technology to support the scholarship and given me the chance to internship in Tai & Chyun”
